Reenvisioning the reproductive freedom movement.
FRFL partners with advocates on the frontlines of the fight for reproductive freedom to co-create and execute strategies that will improve access now in states and build a stronger movement across the country.
Our labs incubate and experiment to develop scaleable strategies that address gaps in the movement, build greater capacity, and foster more inclusive progress.
We strive for Reproductive Justice as defined by Sister Song.
2024 Lab
FRFL’s inaugural lab is supporting a cohort of abortion funds from around the country with strategic resources. In partnership with these frontline leaders, our collective goals are two-fold:
First: Develop high-ROI tactics to make meaningful capacity improvements in the near term that may be scaleable.
Second: Help shift philanthropic funding priorities to include frontline abortion funds more directly.

Why FRFL
The movement for reproductive freedom should be more equitable, more strategic, and more collaborative. The moment demands new ideas, approaches and tactics that reflect the needs and input of those on the frontlines of the fight.
Frontline Repro Freedom Lab was born not only out of the post-Dobbs crisis, but a recognition that the movement was missing some of it’s greatest strategic opportunities at a time when they are most needed.
FRFL supports new approaches to expand access and build toward reproductive freedom in close partnership with those on the frontlines.
FRFL is a partnered project of the National Women’s Health Network
